what i ate in a day ~
It’s cold and flu season and I caught a small cold. So, everything I ate is focused on trying to get better.
My first meal of the day was congee which is one of the top foods to eat when you’re not feeling well. I added rice to bone broth and seasoned with salt and fish sauce. Then I added crushed garlic and ginger as aromatics. I also made a honey, ginger and lemon tea to clear my sinuses.
Next I made homemade bone broth with lots of chicken bones — this is soo good for you whether you’re sick or not. I turned it into a thai coconut chicken soup, called tom kha gai. Then for a late night snack I ate a pistachio mochi ice cream.
