My fridge stopped working. Thank goodness my son went to get ice cream last night and said to me it was a little runny. Looked and discovered everything was defrosting. Wasn't sure what was going on. So I put everything in deep freezer down stairs and put all fridge food into a cooler.. Good thing we have ice packs coming out the a$$ that we keep in the deep freezer.

Discovered the plug attached to compressor had burned up. The compressor was in locked rotor amperage. Bypassed circuit breaker and hit compressor till it turned on. Ordered a 3 n 1 hard start kit. Will install tomorrow and see if it fixes it. For now ai have it all Jerry Rigged. Making a ton of ice in deep freeze so I can shut it off tonight before I go to bed. waiting to see what it does when the the defrost circuit comes on. Hoping it will restart by itself. I would bypass the defrost timer, but it is a circuit board, and of course there is no wiring diagrams stuffed in the machine; anywhere!
